Privacy Policy

Data stored locally

Participants, preferences, presets, history, logo, custom sounds and local remote-control credentials are stored in your browser using localStorage and IndexedDB. They are not automatically sent to our servers unless you voluntarily enable a feature that requires synchronization, such as the remote Overlay.

Reports and suggestions

When you use the support form, you voluntarily send your message and, if you choose, your email. Technical diagnostics are optional and disabled by default.

If enabled, diagnostics may include the Rulixy version, browser, device, mode and participant count. They do not include your full participant list, logo, sounds or full history.

Streaming Overlay and remote control

When you use the remote Overlay with OBS or TikTok LIVE Studio, the Control temporarily sends the state needed for synchronization through an encrypted bridge. Packets may contain participant and wheel state, but they are transmitted encrypted; the decryption key remains in the private URL fragment of the Overlay and is not sent to the server endpoint.

If you enable Stream Deck / Remote control, the server temporarily keeps a session identifier, token hashes and action codes such as spin, show or hide. These commands do not contain participant names or the winner. The token and control URLs are private and can be regenerated from Rulixy.

Overlay and remote-control endpoints do not load Google Analytics, and temporary data is removed by expiration or revocation.

Analytics, cookies and consent

Rulixy uses Google Analytics 4 only when you accept the Analytics category in the privacy panel. Before that choice, analytics and advertising storage remain denied and Google Analytics is not loaded.

If you accept Analytics, Google Analytics may process technical and interaction data such as pages visited, device type, browser, session duration, approximate geolocation and aggregate actions inside Rulixy, for example wheel spins, selected mode, templates, language or OBS Overlay use. Rulixy does not send Google participant names, winner names, full lists, uploaded logos, custom sounds, email addresses or support-report content.

Rulixy does not currently display advertising. Advertising-related permissions remain denied. If advertising is enabled in the future, we will update this system and may request your consent again.

Your choice is stored locally in your browser so we do not ask on every visit. You can change it at any time through Privacy preferences in the footer. See our Cookie Policy.
